OPENING NIGHT PARTY
Come celebrate the Opening Night, Friday, October 9, with us at The Big Top, 1638 Clio St., from 10:00PM - 1:00PM. Enjoy a complimentary cocktail while we have live music from local band, Felix.
I LOVE LOUISIANA DAY
Sunday October 11
A special feature of NOFF 2008 will be "I Love Louisiana" Day – a day to explore, promote and celebrate film and filmmaking in Louisiana! On this day all of the Louisiana-made Festival films will be screened at all venues, there will be panels, workshops and roundtable discussions relating to film and filmmaking in Louisiana.
BURLESQUE CINEMA PARTY
Sunday, October 11 NOFF will host a night of Burlesque at One Eyed Jacks, 615 Toulouse St., with local burlesque troop, Fleur de Tease.
Doors open at 9:00PM Show starts at 9:30PM with a presentation of the film, No Strings Attached, to be followed by a full ensemble performance from Fleur de Tease. To find out more about Fleur de Tease, please visit, www.fleurdetease.com.

BEST OF THE FEST” AWARDS CEREMONY
Tuesday, October 13; 7:30 PM
Awards will be presented to the winning films in each of the following categories: Narrative Feature, Documentary Feature, Narrative Short, Documentary Short, Experimental Film and Animated Film. At the Contemporary Arts Center, followed by a glamorous party!
BEST OF THE FEST AWARDS PARTY
Tuesday, October 13; 9:00 PM
The Best of the Fest Awards will be followed by a fantastic party at Ohm Lounge, 135 St. Charles Ave.
Open to All-Access pass holders and Best of Fest Awards ticket-holders.
CLOSING NIGHT PARTY
Join us in closing the 20th New Orleans Film Festival at Ampersand, 1100 Tulane Ave. The Party will start at 9:30PM and will feature free signature cocktails.
FILMMAKER RECEPTIONS
Laminate holders are welcome to join us in the VIP Lounge at 6:00PM every evening of the Festival for a reception honoring a specific group of film professionals; our visiting filmmakers, Louisiana filmmakers, our awards finalists, and Latin American filmmakers.
PANELS AND WORKSHOPS
This year we will present six panels. Topics include: A Conversation with Richard Linklater, Louisiana Filmmaking, Production Study: A Closer Look at Cummings Farm, Post-Production Sound: Documentaries and Post-Production Sound: Narratives.
AUDIENCE AWARDS
NOFF will be presenting Audience Awards, voted on by Festival audiences, in the categories of Narrative Feature and Documentary Feature! The winners will be announced on our website at the close of the festival.
