Volunteer
This year the New Orleans Film Society will present it's 20th Annual New Orleans Film Festival in October. In order to make this fabulous event a success we need outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic volunteers!
But wait! NOFS also needs year-round volunteers for our ever-growing list of festivals and events. We are looking to build a core group of dedicated volunteers to help out year-round, at events like the French Film Festival, New Orleans International Children's Film Festival, our Monthly Screenings, and more.
Year-round volunteers will get priority shift preferences at our Film Festival in October as well as free admission to NOFS screenings and events. For each screening worked, volunteers get admission to that screening as well as a voucher for another screening.
One of the main jobs our year-round volunteers do is working the NOFS table at screenings and events. Some jobs at the NOFS table include: selling merchandise and memberships, handing out flyers promoting upcoming events and screenings, and signing up people to receive our email newsletters. Other jobs include: being an usher, collecting tickets, and organizing lines.
