Writer and producer Eric Overmyer to speak at the University of New Orleans
TELEVISION WRITER AND PRODUCER ERIC OVERMYER TO SPEAK AT UNO
Acclaimed television writer and producer Eric Overmyer will be the featured keynote speaker at a panel series to introduce individuals to the basic concepts surrounding the screenwriting process. The event will take place on Thursday, February 25 from 6:30-8:30 PM at the University of New Orleans in the Performing Arts Center Room 317. It is free and open to the public.
Eric Overmyer is currently working with David Simon on the New Orleans based drama Treme; Eric has also written for and/or produced numerous TV shows, including St. Elsewhere, Homicide: Life of the Street, Law and Order, The Wire and New Amsterdam.
This panel is presented in partnership by the City of New Orleans Office of Film and Video, University of New Orleans, Delgado University, New Orleans Video Access Center, New Orleans Film Society and GNO, Inc.
