New Orleans Film Society sponsors several events such as the French Film Festival and the New Orleans International Children's Film Festival. We also hold regular monthly screenings at the Contemporary Arts Center and the Porch 7th Ward Neighborhood Center. Our Porch series continues to be our community outreach endeavor where we reach out to the African American community at the Porch with a series of films to make filmmore accessible to audiences who are traditionally under-served. In addition to these yearly and year-round events, we also hold special event screenings such as an evening with Steven Soderbergh.
